Often times people ask what photobucket uses for servers and where it lives. Here is a picture of some of the servers so you have an idea. The servers in the in the first 3 cabinets are database and web clusters. The nearest 2 cabinets are our Network Appliance storage clusters.
You may have noticed, we have changed the search around to look at pictures and albums. The concept of "tags" is becoming very popular. A tag is simply an identifier, so if you tag a picture with the word "car", it will be grouped into that search. The only requirement is that you're album is public, set in your account options.
