Happy 2nd Birthday Photobucket
I guess in our busy lives we don't realize how fast time flies. My dad dad reminded me that this website has been online for two years today, so Happy Birthday Photobucket! Its always fun to look back and see how far we've come.
I feel that the best is still to come as we have many exciting things coming over the next year. Many image hosting and online photo album sites have come and gone over the last few years. However, I can assure you that we aren't going anywhere!
Thanks to all of our members that have suppported us through the years.
Looking back....
- May 8, 2003 I registered photobucket.com
- July 13, 2003 hit 1,000 users
- September 20th, 2003 I added a second server
- February 1, 2004 Darren joined me as a partner
- February 20, 2004 hit 100,000 users
- June 1, 2004 moved onto our own infrastructure here in Denver
- June 17, 2004 hit 1,000,000 users
- October 12, 2004 launched the new site (same as today)
- September 15, 2004 added premium accounts
- December 2, 2004 hit 2,000,000 users
- March 20, 2005 hit 3,000,000 users
.... and here we are today growing faster and faster

Happy 2nd birthday! I just wanted to say congratulations and THANK YOU for being such a convenient, consistent, easy to use photo hosting service. I'm glad to know that the site seems to be doing mighty well, and I look forward to using this service for years to come.
Once again, thanks (and I know that I'm talking for A LOT of people)!
