Additional Tweaks 12.18.06

Thanks everyone for your feedback!

We've made some additional tweaks since last week and hope that this will improve the experience on Photobucket for our users.

* We've made the text links and codes more visible with greater color contrasts

* We've modified vertical alignments between sub-album names

* We've optimized the album page so that you can see more of the images in your album at the same time. (4 across)

* Descriptions/titles are moved to the top of thumbnails and given more color contrast.

* There were also a few minor bugs regarding signing in for some of our users involving non standard characters for their username and password. These have all been resolved.

i love the one click copy!!! i think you guys should put back into the bucket that when you click on a pic it goes to the real size of it you used to be able to click it and it would take you back to your album and place you left off at but know when you click it the same piucture comes up in a smller window so you have to close it then hit the back button then find the place you left off and in the mean time you have to waite forever to get your album to show back up that really is a need to fix .also i would like to be able to save a hole album to my pc instead of one picture at a time thats so time consuming and boring other than that i love the photobucket keep up the good work !!!

very slow lately!

The site is running really slow. I am using other sites to speed check and they are loading very fast, but photobucket is giving me a white screen for sometimes up to a minute. Really frustrating to use.

One thing I don't like about the full-size view in album redesign from the previous feature update:

The space taken by the right column(next, previous previews) forces pictures to be resized.

Perfectly fine 800x600 turns to 720x540 plus bad image quality plus an extra button click to view full size for a small pic(1024x768 is ok but 800x600!?).

Maybe the full-size view in album can be made more customisable, allow the user to hide the next, previous previews so as to reduce the redundant resize.

Hi Grace - When was the last time you deleted your cache and temporary internet files? That little bit of cleaning up can help quite a bit.

I am on an iMac G5. You seem to have made some recent changes. I can't see a lot of my photos and I can't upload anything. What gives?

Please head on over to the Photobucket homepage and click the 'contact us' link at the bottom of the page.

Send as many details as you can (Renata that includes a link to your MySpace page so we can get a look) and be sure to include your system information (the computer you use.. is it a Mac or PC, What OS, Which Browser..).

Since your recent changes to photobucket I cannot log upload to Photobucket using clic pic which is a program that I use to compress my pics and then send them to you then add them to my template in my auction wizard program. I used this successfully until sat morning at which time I have had and IT guy involved, the creator of Clic Pic and auction Template involved and I still cannot log on to your site using my clic pic program thorugh ftp. My firewall has been check and is not the problem. I hope that you can help
