High-tech entrepreneurs grapple with build-or-sell dilemma

Michael Liedtke, Associated Press

Denver-based Photobucket also prefers to remain independent as it strives to nearly double its registered users to 60 million by the end of this year, said Alex Welch, who has raised about $15 million in venture capital since co-founding the site in 2003. Photobucket's 35 million members currently upload about 7 million photos and 35,000 videos per day – second only to YouTube and MySpace.

Hi, I'm Melvin Clifton a very satisfied member at Photobucket. I recall first learning about Photobucket while at a forum at: http://affiliatefunnel.com/ymp/melvinhc and immediately decided to visit the website. It is very user friendly and FREE.
At a mere $25.00 per year for all the benefits provided beyond the FREE membership, deciding to upgrade to PRO Membership was a no-brainer. One of the features I particularly like is it's automatic link creation (providing ready-made links) for all photo within my account and albums. This is a great feature and saves a heck of a lot of time especially if one is not that savvy at html and often needs to create links to/from photos on one's website.
I highly recommend photobucket.
