Site Issue Resolved: March 21st
Status as of 12:30PM Pacific Time: March 21st, 2007: During the night on March 20th 2007, a small percentage of Photobucket users experienced issues accessing their content.
The moment we were alerted to the issue, our special forces team worked through the night, and now the issue has been resolved.
No user should have experienced any data loss. There is no need to either make a new account, or re-upload your content.
Please know that we place the very highest priority on the reliability of our service. We fully appreciate that for those people who experienced an inaccessible account, this was frustrating and extremely inconvenient. Despite the volume of comments here, the number of users affected was only a small percentage of our overall user base. And every customer matters to Photobucket.
We truly appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing Photobucket.

Is this problem with photobucket going to be fixed soon? I really am relying on the pictures that are hosted in my account at the moment, I need them to be showing. How come my friends can use their accounts but I cant use mine? None of my friends pay for their accounts yet they are all working fine. Please can you give an update as to what is going on and roughly how long you think the site will be down.

Your service is tops in my book and I would love a bumper sticker to put on my 1962 Ford M151-LC Desert Racer.

Please advise how long you think this will take. May of my images are on my site so if my images are not showing, my site is down so I want to have an idea.

Is there a reason that it's only affecting certain users? Is it the server we're on or what? Or is it just totally random?

While I do appreciate the initial information, I'm frustrated by both the length of the outage and the lack of additional updates as to when we can expect this situation to be corrected. While it might be a small number of users affected, my entire blog is effectively wiped out due to this problem. I never realized how devastating an outage like this would be to my blog. I would really like to know what the problem is and how long you expect it to last. Thank you.

Ok now... whats going on? because i use my photobucket for school, my friends website and art, now i was just wondering when this is going to be over cause i really need it...

Thanks for the update...Photobucket is really important to me right now, as I had to reformat my hard drive unexpectedly last week and now the only copies I have of my pix and banners and art and things like that are in my photobucket account. As long as those don't get wiped, I can wait a bit for access...
I did notice that a few hours ago, things I have posted in forums and such....pix, banners, etc, were showing for a little bit of time...but now they're gone again...
Oh well, these things happen...hope it gets fixed soon though...
Again, thanks for the updates...that at least helps some while I wait...

I do hope you will resolve these issues, as some of us are also ebay sellers and it is quite annoying to see pictures missing from the auctions' descriptions.

I truly appreciate your prompt awareness of the photo content issues! I had an issue with my albums last night, sent in a question about it (because I thought it was my computer), and today I find that you have addressed the matter on your site, as being an issue with more than one member of this site! Informing and keeping us up to date is the best thing you could do (even if we can't access our content at the moment!). Thank you!!
