Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007 Award Winner in the Rocky Mountain Region
Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Emerging Category
DENVER, June 19, 2007 – Photobucket, the world’s largest personal media site, today announced that CEO and co-founder, Alex Welch, received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2007 Award in the Emerging category in the Rocky Mountain Region. According to Ernst & Young, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Alex was selected by an independent panel of judges and the award was presented at an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year gala event in the Seawell Ballroom at The Denver Center for the Performing Arts on June 21, 2007.
Founded in 2003, Photobucket is the Web's most popular creative hub, with more than 44 million users linking billions of personal photos, graphics, slideshows and videos daily to hundreds of thousands of web sites. On May 30, 2007, Fox Interactive Media (FIM) announced an agreement to acquire Photobucket. I've been with Photobucket for about 4-1/2 yrs....when I was actually able to e-mail Alex when I had a problem. I don't suppose I can do that now. PB is first and foremost for me!!!
