Photobucket welcomes Yahoo! Photos users
Starting today, users will be able to migrate their photos from Yahoo! Photos - scheduled to close shop this fall - to Photobucket in just a few quick and easy steps. Support tips and answers to your most common questions on this migration are available here from Yahoo!
Photobucket is an ideal migration choice for many users because our services are free and allow you to easily link, blog, and share your photos and albums with your friends and family all over the world. Additionally, we you can prints, mugs, tees, and other gifts from your photos. New and existing users can even order CD and DVD backups of entire account through Photobucket.
The process is simple. Just log into your Yahoo photos account and you'll be stepped through the process.
We look forward to welcoming your photos into the Photobucket family!

This did not work for me i ended up haveing to send my pictures to Flickr because it would never go through to photobucket and i am not happy about it i know they have an investment in flickr but it seems like they are pushing people to use thier site or lose thier pictures.. I am very disapointed and i have e-mailed this to Yahoo photos..
I got NO instruction on how to even start the transfer to you but it automaticly sent them to flickr when i simply clicked the link to see if i could see what I was doing wrong.. Im glad they named you but i certianly do not believe they ever meant for you to get the picture.. but you still get all my photos sooner or later i just have to figure this out.

I am the administrater for a group of my fellow combat friends who served in the same battalion.
We have been using a Yahoo group to keep in touch as well as downloading a number of photographs.
Now we are being told that Yahoo is closing that up in September and I have been trying to find a way to transfer the photos as well as maintain our group.
Flickr wants to download them to one of our computers and in small numbers whereas we wish to keep them with a service such as Yahoo.
Please advise if your service can be of help

Hi. I really enjoy using yahoo photos editing tools, like frames, quick fix, and other amazing tools to make my pix into cool forms of art...oh, yeah...cropping is nice, too.
Please?!?!?
