Outsanity

they need to make some non-SD memory cards too.

I'd be real excited if it would work for those of us who DON'T have wireless. :(

Hi,

Please take a look at this URL:

http://www.eye.fi/making-it-effortless/

The Eye-Fi Card has 3 modes: Upload to Computer, Upload to Web and Upload to Web + Computer. If you want to upload to Photobuket & have a backup on your computer, choose to Upload to Computer + Web. If you only want to upload to Photobucket, because you know that you could get your high res images back, anyway, upload to Web only (and choose Photobucket as the destination).

If you want to upload to only your computer, you can choose that mode, and then, your images will never make it online to the Eye-Fi Service.

Totally up to you :-)

Chris

For those of you who purchased this... I don't necessarily need this for uploading to photobucket so can it simply be used as a means to upload your pics to your pc that is wifi enabled rather then removing memory cards to put into a card reader or connecting via a cable?

I have used this card myself. Basically you plug it into your USB port. It launches its own software that prompts you through the process. Pretty quick. Once that's done, you're connected to your Home network. Pretty much it. It really does work. (Did for me anyhow!)

Now this is a great idea and I'm gonna get one as soon as possible. I host Karaoke and take pictures of everyone who sings, then upload the pictures to the computer and then from the computer I upload them to photobucket. Looks like I'll be able to cut out the middle man so to speak. Thanks PhotoBucket, once again your on the cutting edge. BTW, I liked the button to add your MySpace profile.

But if you have a wireless network at home, you can automatically link the card to your Photobucket album.

OK - but how do you do this?
