Improvements to Albums and Subalbums
Today we launched some improvements to the ways that Photobucket handles albums and subalbums.
Improvements include:
- Ability to set sub-albums "public" and "private" selectively
- More room to display album names in the left sidebar
- "Expand" and "collapse" feature to display more, or less, subalbum names for lists longer than 25 albums
|
Edit Album and Sub-Album Properties Click on the "edit" link at the top of your album sidebar to edit the album properties. You can:
Make New Sub-Albums You can have many albums, and layers of sub-albums, on Photobucket. It's a good way to keep all your stuff organized. To make a new album, just enter the name at the bottom of the sidebar, and click "save." Expand and Collapse the Left Sidebar If you have more than 25 albums, use the "more" and "less" links to control how many of your albums show in the sidebar at once. |
Any issues or tech support questions, best place to go is our forum http://forum.photobucket.com, or write to support(at)photobucket.com. You'll get the quickest answers from our team there. Thanks!

How come when I'm logged into my account (I had to set my albums to private because people were stealing my stuff), when I click on ANY of the sub albums, it asks me for a guest password? It shows me as logged out and it doesn't matter how many times I log in, it will NOT let me view my sub albums.
This is annoying. It's also annoying that there is no email support for customers to contact you. Not everything is covered in the FAQs and there's hardly anything on your forums.
Any help would be appreciated. (I'm running Opera on XPsp2).

I totally agree with Stephanie. Ever since the sidebar arrangement began, I've been annoyed. It's makes the albums difficult to find and makes album contents difficult to check, unlike the previous album setup.
I am a paying customer and I have to wonder why you changed a perfect system.
Please reconsider allowing us to go back to the old system.
Sincerely,
Movielvr

I have tried all day to get into my photo album, every time it kicks me out saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page" what's up with this? I have logged out and back on, i have checked my Internet connections, everything else worked just not Photo-bucket
is the new changes making problems like this for others?

I just wanted to comment on this new side bar layout.
I hate it!
I just want to say before i start my "Rant" lol that as a paying photobucket-er I am happy to see new things coming aboard... but this particular change is just something i cant stand.
Is there a option that we can put everything back at the BOTTOM of the page.. The side bar cuts off half the name of the albums (and if you have a few that have the same beginning you have to keep clicking to get the freakin right one since you cant see the end of it!) and then you have to click MORE to get the rest?
no.. i want it all on the page... right where it was. Is there an option i'm just not seeing to put it BACK that way? I upload a LOT of pictures and this new change not only makes it harder to do what i have to do.. but longer! with extra things to click.
Please help if theres an option to put it back that i'm just not seeing. this is a pain in the behind!
Thanks
Stephanie
