Thanks, Brendajos -- good question. The Verizon service automates the transfer in the background. You just click the camera button and you've got no more buttons to press! No addressing. No messaging. So that's the first benefit.

Second for messaging, subscribers typically pay a transactional or monthly fee. So email probably costs you too, right?

Finally, the service transfers in full resolution. The media isn't going to be shrunk on transfer, which can reduce quality.

So hopefully you'll give it a try and see how incredibly easy and quick it is to do. That's really the absolutely best bit! We've become totally hooked on it at Photobucket!
