It's been almost a year since we opened up our fabulous Photobucket API to the developer community at Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco in April 2008. Since then, we've had thousands of great developers sign up to use our API ... more of who is doing what will be announced at Web 2.0. There's some great stuff to talk about.
But today -- our contest. To celebrate the anniversary, we are launching a developer contest. The winners will be announced at an honorable, exclusive, and ecomomy-aware (read: cheap and cheerful) party at Photobucket's offices in San Francisco during Web 2.0.
Photobucket Developer Contest
Are you a developer who wants to get noticed? From now until March 25/09, we are running an application design contest based on originality, ease of use, and innovation. One grand prize winner will be spot-lighted at our API Anniversary Party, be included as the Application of the Day in our Application Gallery, featured our Photobucket Home page, plus will get bags of goodies like a super sweet video camera and some highly honorable Photobucket swag.
Some suggestions for applications you can build are:
- Blog plug-ins
- Social network plug-ins
- A game or game plug-in
- Client libraries for various languages (Python, Ruby or Javascript)
- Desktop application for upload, download or search
- Data analysis on search
- Mobile applications

I need my avatar to be coded on the format of bb coding. Trying to post on a message board and I cannot get my avatar to work on that board or any other board with the coding that you have .
Any help appreciated.
