Ever wonder what that little flower looking icon on your
camera did?
It’s actually a really fun and impressive mode to shoot photos in. The mode is called “Macro” and is commonly known for shooting close-up photography. When shooting in Macro mode, you can get really crisp and detailed photos of the object you are photographing. Depending on your lens you can get a small portion in focus while the rest is blurred to make the object you want to focus on stand out. It’s a great mode to shoot flowers, insects, food to show texture or anything you want to see details of. Try it out and check out our Macro category!

Sometimes i get upset on this macro mode... :( I'm a newbie, sometimes the object that i have closed up onto my lens can't be focused, it blured with the other area, any suggestion... :(

I really prefere typical 1:1 macro lens with full manual camera settings... then you have control on what you are taking picture of and how...

You can use the flower setting on your camera, or you can play with F-Stops and Shutter Speeds on your own. You will learn not just about macro photography, but your camera and pics in general!
