We just launched a totally new way of doing slideshows: using video surrounds. This is pretty cool. Check it out for the new July 4th Slideshow style. You can make your own slideshow by clicking "create slideshow" in your account.

Since we launched Group Albums a month ago, literally thousands of groups have been made by Photobucket users. What's a Group Album? It's an album where groups of people can contribute photos and videos to the same album -- great for events, interest groups, teams, schools, weddings -- wherever many people get together with many cameras.

People often ask us this, and so we thought we'd write a quick post. I's incredibly easy to take a pic with your mobile phone and have it appear instantly in your Photobucket album. Here's how:
Your Photobucket album has a unique email address associated with it. You can find that email address when you click on Account Options in the upper right corner of your album. It's a bit of a long email address, so make it a contact name in your phone book so you don't need to enter it every time.
Then, whenever you take a pic, send it by MMS email to that address. The pic will show up instantly in the album. It's really easy!

So you may remember that we ran an "MTV Movie Spoof" contest on Photobucket, in collaboration with MTV? One Photobucket nominee gets to go to the MTV Movie Awards, and potentially win all sorts of cool kudos, prizes, and stuff.
Well, we got a nominee, and they did a spoof called "I Am Little." And now it's time TO VOTE!
The amateur auteur whose spoof collects the most votes on MTV will attend the awards and walk away with an MTV Movie Awards Golden Popcorn trophy of their very own!
