Contest ended 2/28/2015. Check out our #LoveOfSpring contest for another chance to win!

Share the photo you love the most for a chance to win a $500 amazon gift card!

A photo is so much more than ink printed on paper. Photos represents the things we love the most. Our family, friends, pets, travels, laughs and losses. At Photobucket, everything we do is centered around the love of photos. The challenge… Dig through your photos to share the one you love the most. (We know it’s nearly impossible to choose just one!)

How to enter:

  • Choose the photo you love the most
  • Share via Instagram*, Twitter or Photobucket with the hashtag #LoveOfPhotos and tell us why you love it
  • Once you’ve shared, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $500 amazon gift card

Three simple steps that add up to so much more. The memories, feelings and moments our favorite photos represent are immeasurable. Curious to see what other’s are submitting? Click here!

All entires must be submitted by February 28, 11:59 PM ET. Click here to view official contest rules.

*All entries with hashtag #loveofphotos are entered, but only new uploads with hashtag #loveofphotos will be visible in the contest album on Photobucket.

I left a comment here earlier and now it is gone ; I was wondering about a photo I uploaded to my “bucket” and for the title #LoveOfPhotos and then wrote why I love it. What I’m wondering is if I have to share it somewhere, that is not clear to me. I don’t do twitter or instagram. Thank you!

      Hello Susan,

You do not have to “share” your photo to enter. If you upload it to your Photobucket account with the hashtag, you will be entered. If you are shaving any trouble you can send over the link to your photo and we can make sure it was entered correctly!

Hi, Hannah! This is the link to the photo I wanted to submit. I haven’t a clue about Hashtags so I don’t know if it made it.

I love the picture (Highland Park, Rochester, NY, November 5, 2014) because it reminds me of the incredible beauty and sense of calm purpose that each season brings to those who watch and listen.

Can you confirm that the picture made it? Thank you so much! Gayle C. (Phantom4j)

This picture is of my parents. It was taken about two months before they got married in 1964. I love looking at old pics. But to me it really a great pic when you find one of your parents and it was taken before they got married.

I think this photo of my brother speaks volumes about the simple joys of childhood. My dad took this picture. For me it means a lot, because were were not rich people, but it shows how my parents “made do” with what was available to them. Plus my brother is really cute as he revels in his little swimming pool.

(I don’t think this whole description posted, but I tried.)

Hi, I submitted a picture of my daughter. I do see it in the entries, but the whole description I wrote as to why I loved the photo isn’t there. Only a small part of it is. I’ve seen other people’s photos who have their full description on their entry. Does the reason why my full paragraph as to why I loved that photo not showing up have anything to do with it being posted from Photobucket and not something like Facebook or Twitter?

      February 20, 2015

      Hello Mariah,

The only thing that would have prevented your description from posting is if you didn’t fully click the check mark after you were done writing it. If you would like to send us the description here, we can add it for you! Just be sure to include a link to the photo you submitted. Thank you!

Thank you for the quick reply! This is what I had wrote:

#LoveOfPhotos I love this photo because it is a picture I took of my daughter’s first valentine’s day. She was about 14 or 15 weeks old in the picture and she is my world! I never expected myself to be a mother but when I saw that little cross on the pregnancy test, I knew my life would be changed forever. We had some scares during the pregnancy, at 34 weeks I started having contractions at work and thankfully the doctor was able to stop the contractions. I had to take early maternity leave and was on semi-bedrest for the remainder of the pregnancy. I had her via C section on October 29th, 2014. Her father was not there for her birth, nor has he had any part in her life but with the help of my loving and supportive friends and family she has grown to be a very happy and talkive baby! Everyone who meets her instantly falls in love with her and she loves the attention! I am very proud of this picture and of her. It’s amazing seeing how far she has come within the past few months and although she will one day leave the nest, I will have pictures like this one to cherish for life!

Not sure which link you needed.

On my Photobucker album I have already changed the

        Name as “Spring Frolic”;

Description as “#loveofphotos San Francisco Fisherman’s Wharf, spring steps closer, world is filled with vivid, bright sunshine..”
I am not sure if this will be reflected on the contest accordingly.

I get an error when trying to share via Twitter. I uploaded it to my Photobucket account but see no way to “share” it with a hashtag or comment.
    Here’s the photo:

I love the perspective of the train cars trailing off into the distance. I was just sitting, waiting for a train to pass, when I saw the opportunity for a shot, and I took it.

    Hi Hannah,
I entered two photos and I can see them on this page but I cannot in the online photo album. Are the photos entered and what step did I miss to not have them show up in the online photo album?
    Thank you for your help,

I love this photo because it captures the aura, remoteness, beauty and the difficulty of life in this part of Nepal all in one. An old sick man is flown out of this remote village in Solukhumbu district as the children, who might never have seen a chopper this up close, looks on. This village is days walk away from any hospital or road service. It is very expensive to book choppers in Nepal, and people do that as a last resort when there is some medical emergency. This photo tells of the dire needs in which people are trapped, but at the same time the huddled up kids give this photo a message of hope and happiness. That is why this has been my favorite photo. Every time I see the kids all huddled up to see the chopper, it makes me smile even though I do not know if the old man ever came back to his village or not.

I LOVE this photo because my U.S. Marine son was deployed to Iraq, knowing he’d been injured scared me so badly, getting this photo, seeing his huge smile, was such a relief! Even injured, you can’t keep our Marines down!

How is the winner determined? Can you enter more than one photo? Thanks!

I must be entirely blind. I go to the first page of the images ppl are submitting, but I see absolutely no place that indicates where to submit my image. If I put my cursor over the social media option icons, it says “share this album”. I simply cannot find an obvious place that says “submit my photo”…..
