Thank you all for your participation in the #LoveOfPhotos Contest. We were truly blown away by all of the entries and it was nearly impossible to choose a winner. Every photo had a unique story and we were honored that you all were willing to share a special moment of your lives with us. After much digging and deliberation, we have finally settled on 1 grand prize winner and 4 runners up.

1st place winner

My favorite photo to this day. Kennedy was a bold four year old at the time, and already unsure about her curly hair and freckles. She used to tell me she wished her hair was straight and blonde. Little did she know she was and still is the most stunning creature. I have no doubt when she’s older, she will be stoked on her gorgeous red hair. Let’s teach the kids around us to find beauty in their uniqueness. It starts with us and how we see and talk about ourselves.

This is one of Jonathan and I’s favorite photo. It signifies rejuvenation, spiritual growth and perseverance through difficult times.

I love this picture, it captures the excitement of my best friends’ first time in the snow embracing her ancestral roots. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing bond with such an incredible animal.

I love this picture because it captures a very loving moment between my son and his brand new little sister (whom he was sure he wouldn’t like upon hearing of her arrival), they are still best friends this day 🙂

I love this photo because nothing is as priceless as seeing the happiness in my daughter’s face.

Thank you again for all of your participation. Check out our #LoveOfSpring Contest for another chance to win!

I’ve been a member with Photobucket for 8 years now. I’ve watched all the other online photo image sites disappear– but Photobucket keeps it fresh and new year after year with things like this contest. In these photos I can see the wisdom of 100 years in the eyes of a 4 year old named Kennedy; the bond of joy that crosses the species when celebrating the earth’s bounties in the snow picture with a girl and her dog; and the love of all loves being expressed in a simple touch of the hand to a newborn’s head.
Are camera’s getting better, or is life just amazing?

All such beautiful photos wiht great stories. I can truly relate to the beautiful little redhead grand prize winner. Growing up redhead is not easy. I always wanted blonde straight hair like my best friends because they were “pretty”. So many adults said “you’ll love you hair one day”. I didn’t want to hear it. But, they were so right! Now that I’m older I truly appreciate the uniqueness that is me.
