I think it’s pretty cool and anyone trolling on this can get rekt
web version please.. I am in the very initial stages of developing my web.. Web please. thanks.
I too would like a desktop / laptop version.
Like Carolyn, I’m 68 and have been around computers since 1981.
But the smartphone screen is just too small for me.
I don’t own a smart phone…just a free phone as I am retired and limited funds. I would love to have this on the web also. ty.
just let gif die already, webm and png is the way of the future
My vote is that no one ever create a non-mobile version. Ever. I vote against it. Mwah-ha-ha-hah!
One more vote for a web version, please. I, too, do not own a smart phone, and in any case, prefer to do things like this on a desktop computer. Thanks.
I too surfed on and followed a link hoping automatically for a desktop version.
This is another vote for a web version, please.
please create a web based please. very difficult to do work on cell phone,
Please a web version-
If you’re all so desperate for a gifmaker that works on a tradional computer why not go google the term “gif maker” and grab something that will do it? took me longer to write this then it did to find one, gees
yet another vote for the web version
Why would anyone say we want to develop only for one platform. And anyhow clearly there’s enough interest. Bob, can you at least be nice?
Yep ….. web based for me too please.
A smart-phone is just a smart …… phone.
If I’m creating graphics ….. I’m working at my pc.
Web Web Web please Mr Wilhite
I’d like a Web version too, please!!
Count me in for a web version too
i want a web version along with the mobile version. there are other sites i use on the web now, but then i have to transfer them to PB anyway. it would be much easier to have it all in one place. and when i’m on my phone, i don’t always have the time or battery life to play around with things.
Here is yet another vote for the web version or some form of a home version. We don’t have cell phones that do apps and have not plans to get any. Yoiu are leaving out a large population and probably a lot of seniors like me. I am very computer literate, have been computing, building websites (no longer any online), creating graphics, and editing and restoring photos. Age: 73 1/2 female
Another vote for the web version!!!!!
Why would you not want a smartphone for? What are you taliban??
Yes, Yes, Must be Taliban!
Not everyone can afford the luxury of a Smartphone.
Another vote here for the web version.
Have been creating animated GIFs for over 15 years with a Micrografx piece of software called Windows Draw-6. It won’t run properly on anything newer than Windows XP. Must have created hundreds of GIFs in those 15 years and Its is invaluable to me so It was worth every penny I spent on the Windows Draw application.
Why ruin one’s eyesight looking at a smartphone when one can have the luxury of seeing real size images and text on a 19 inch monitor? Besides why pay for two internet connections when I need a propper broadband connection?
I have an LG smart phone on EE, which I use very infrequently. Being the worlds oldest man I try to keep uptodate with new technologies and will avoid using my phone for internet like the plague which incedently nearly cost me my life several hundred years ago. In those days the nearest thing to the internet was semaphore flags.
Methos – The Immortal One
GIF and JIF are both correct pronunciations. How the G in the first word is pronounced has no bearing on how the acronym should be pronounced. Stop fueling the age-old argument.
I have a smart phone but hate to use it for anything if I can avoid it, as it is too small
to work with in creating stuff with apps. Please consider the desktop version of the Gif maker.
A web version would be great.
I’d like a web version!
Lately, it seems like the mobile devices are taking over the internet. I have even seen times where a mobile device was the ONLY way to make use of (whatever). I would like to use the GIF maker but all I own is a laptop. Is there a version of the GIF maker that can be used on my laptop?
At this time we do not have plans to create a web version. However, if there is a high level of interest we will definitely look into it!
Thank you for your feedback.
Interest here, too.
Another request here. I find phones more useful for consuming than for creating.
Me too! I was very disappointed to find I had to have some sort of mobile devise in order to have some fun. exclusive.
Yes, please. I much rather like working on my PC then on my phone.
Another vote for the web version. Getting older it’s harder and harder to see the little screen on these new phones.
A web-based program can be used by any device, including phones.
A phone app can only be used by phones.
It would seem silly to ever create an app when a web-based program is possible.
I’m also interested in a GIF maker that I can use on my desk top computer.
interest here also !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Count me in for a Windows version of the GIF maker. I do all my work on a Windows PC (both for work and for fun). I use my smartphone mainly to make phone calls, and to occasionally browse the internet, …. not to create stuff. I take hundreds of photos, but not with my smartphone. I use a digital camera for all my photography, and then transfer my photos to my PC for processing.
I vote yes for a web version
I vote for a web version also
Web version please, app version only – stops my interest dead in its tracks.
I would like to see a version I can use on my Imac.
one more vote for a version on the laptop – Mac version please 🙂
Yeah, what he said! Consider this another vote for the web version.
Count this as another vote in favor of a non-smartphone version! I can see lots of uses for this product/option/ability, but I neither own nor want a smartphone.
Web-based photobucket GIF Maker – voting yes
Like Kevin said! I have an iPhone *and* an iPad but Iuse my laptop for photo editing, blogging, etc. Phones are for talking, not creating! Let’s have a web version!
+1 for Web version
I am interested in a computer version, too! Not everyone has a fancy phone.
How to check how many GB of storage I have used.
