I cannot see my pictures in the Library view. If I click on the Slideshow and Story mode they scroll through, but nothing in the default library view.

You say only I can see recent uploads but that isn’t true. I just sent an album link to someone and they could definitely view pictures in recent uploads. I watched them do this.

      Hello Ron,

Recent uploads are visible to anyone, but will only display public content. If you make the albums private, they will not see any images in that view.

I know the reason the recent uploads are on the opening page, but is there any way to change that? I know you say they are only visible to account owner, but, it means one needs to make sure no one is around when using your site.

      Good morning,

By default, you will be shown your recent uploads when logging on to your Photobucket. This feature is aimed to make the users’ photos the center of attention. You are correct in that they will only be visible to the account owner. There is currently no option to change this setting.

I don’t like the ‘Upload photos’ box appearing on every page of the central picture library area, it drastically increases the number of pages in my folders, when trying to find specific images.

Can it be removed or the option to switch it off?

      Good morning,

There is currently no option to remove the “Upload Photos” box in a Photobucket library. Because our users have indicated that photo uploads are their primary use of Photobucket, we have designed our site to make users’ photos and uploads the center of attention.

      We apologize for the inconvenience.

I want the recent uploads on lock as well !!
Even my pictures from my private album aren’t private in the recent uploads section! I don’t want that! There’s a reason why we put a lock on our albums. How can I change that? How can I put my recent uploads private as well?

      Hello,

Recent uploads are only visible to you, the account holder. Other users viewing your account will not see your recent uploads.
