Hey, what’s that smell?
It’s a holiday feast!
Some holiday favorites are sweet and leave your belly aching when you’ve had one too many. Others are savory and fill the house with decadent smells as they’re roasting in the oven. And some are enjoyed in liquid form, filling mugs with smooth, rich goodness.
Your holiday menu is about to be a whole lot tastier! We’ve cornered a few unsuspecting Photobucket employees and demanded their top secret family recipes to share with our trusted users. Food is best shared! So feel free to share your own holiday favorites in the comments below.
Rachel, our Customer Support Specialist (and the ‘Behind the Lens’ author) shared her family’s holiday favorite, Monkey Bread! It’s simple, but like she said, “it just wouldn’t be Christmas breakfast without my Monkey Bread!”
Jen, our Product Manager, suggested a ‘Kahlua Pecan Brie” recipe (a.k.a The Hors D’Oeuvre to End All Other Hors D’Oeuvres) and warned us the family and friends may break out into an all out brawl over the last bite!
Whitney, our Marketing Design Specialist, told us she enjoys a simple and savory Slow Cooker Lemon Herbed Chicken recipe. Just throw it in the crock-pot and return hours later for this fall-off-the-bone goodness.
Jessica, our Product Manager, said that her Nana’s ‘Mashed Potato Pie’ is a holiday dinner must have. This Mashed Potato Pie recipe is sure to be a hit at any holiday gathering!
Oh, and another scrumptious side dish from me. This vegetarian-friendly recipe is loved by both carnivores and herbivores alike. These Roasted Brussels Sprouts are tender, easy and just simply delicious.
And Kim, our HR Specialist (and mother of three) insists that Sugar Cookies are a must because… Well lets face it. Sugar cookies are perfect for decorating fun that the whole family can enjoy.
