    This all sounds great. Can you also include a way to delete several photos at once? Rather then one at a time? I just don’t have the time, or desire, to do it now.

      You can delete several photos at once with the current site design (and will be able to with the updated site design as well).

      When in your library, turn the “Organize” function to “on”. You can then select multiple photos and videos to move, edit, or delete. Check out this step by step tutorial for further clarification:

        Hi, my library is not visible today, but all files seem to be there. The thumbnails of the images in my library are greyed out, with file name visible. I uploaded new images yesterday, and they were fine then. The sites where I share those images show blank areas, the photos are not visible on the pages. Are you having technical issues with servers today?

    I certainly hope that you have considered page loading time as a critical factor in the next “improvements”. Photobucket has always been one of the slowest loading sites in the internet and it just seems to get worse whenever you add more useless “features” that so many of us just are not interested in.

    And don’t forget that there are a lot of us with pentium 4 or older computers so make sure you test the site on systems that aren’t the latest/newest to make sure it won’t just frustrate is and make us look elsewhere for photo hosting.

    And speaking of that, how hard would it be to have a streamlined “just hosting” version without all of the annoying stuff that makes Photobucket slow and hard to navigate for those of us who just want a place to host pics without all of the editing and social media garbage?

      Bob Brings up some mighty good stuff.
      It is all of that advertising that, literally, locks up My note book with only one gig of ram and an atom processor.
      Very frustrating to say the least, and, Hanna did not even touch on the subject of if the new P.B. will bog down these slower machines.
      I have had to stay away from P.B. even to look at some of My oldest pics. because of how P.B. functions and locks up My computer.
      Remove some of those adds and it will greatly speed up the functionality of P.B.

Let me guess, you were also outraged when windows xp reached end of life? Perhaps your ungrateful view on moving forward could be just the problem with progress abroad – maybe a simple thank you was all that was needed

    Every time you improve your site, add to the already multiple capabilities or “make things easier” I have to fight my way through thickets of things I don’t understand to do the few simple things I want to use your site for.
    When I first used Photobucket, I could click on “download” and the program seemed to know where on my computer to look for the photos I had filed, ready to be downloaded, so that I could give each of them the IMG name I needed for posting photos to forums. Now that there are so many more things the program can do, it’s much less easy to do the few, simple things I want to be able to do. Is there a way you can offer a simplified version for people like me?
    I can edit in iPhoto, print from iPhoto and store there too, but I can’t get IMG names. What advantage is there for me to have to learn all the tricks of your trade to do things I don’t want to do?

It’s too bad that the new Photobucket site removed internal site search even though it’s one of the most important features of a photo storage site.       I agree with Rob. The “search with album” feature was removed 2 years ago and I immediately kept up a dialog with PB about their horrible changes at that time. A PB rep named “Frank” assured me the internal search would be restored… in October. 2012. I guess his projection was a bit early. I used to sign into Photobucket every day, now I don’t even click to bookmark every day unless I need something.

      We were encouraged over the years at PB to “title our pictures” and even “re-name the jpgs” so that guess what, we could re-arrange pics alphabetically and we could SEARCH and find our own pics! I’m SO glad I have as many separate albums as I do, Family, Pets, Home, Birthday, Home Repair, Celebs, Smileys… etc. But even with that amount of arrangement, as of last week after my dog passed away I actually spent an hour going from album to album looking at every picture from top to bottom to find a specific picture.

      “Search” is so ingrained into even my old brain that I’ve picked up and old book and in the back of my mind I start to think (for a split second) I need to use “search” for a particular passage!

      That out of the way I’m GLAD you’re going for a bigger printing-based experience. My Mom doesn’t have a pc, she loves the prints I print for her. I love to frame pics, my sister’s an artist and does also, but even she’s guilty of “leaving all the pics on her phone”. I hope the trend goes towards people appreciating physical prints of their memories more. And man, I’d pay top be a Plus Member in an instant if I could only get “search within album” back! Good luck, I’ll be watching for the new features.

    Oh dear, here we go again.

    I have literally just got off the Skype blog after making a comment in respect of the “new and improved” version of Skype. I received an email to say that they are discontinuing my present desktop version because of “lots of benefits” for the user in the new version. What it does not tell you is that when it is downloaded and booted, the user is now subjected to overt and directed advertisements in a constant stream. The MS money grabbing ethos is alive and well at Skype and the transformation is now complete.

    Shame to say, it seems Photobucket may be going down the same road and is also now more about generating oodles of cash for the company, rather than providing what the users really want.

    At heart I am a capitalist, but all this ‘in your face’ and crude attempts at separating me from what little money I have, by services and companies that have been brilliant in the past, is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I guess it is all down to progress!

    Looked over new site and don’t like it. Ads cause it to be slow and pictures are no bigger than thumbnails. Try clicking on them and they still stay small because of the ads that are crammed on both sides.

    I would just like to be able to scroll through all of the photos in each of my libraries, which was a fantastic feature that we lost. The last update put the photos on pages that have to load individually, and is not time efficient and can be frustrating.

    I’ve seen many changes take place with Photobucket that have made it difficult to use and very time consumming. I loved Photobucket for my Photos for years but I use it less & less. When it do its because I have to use it to post my pictures on ebay. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t use it at all anymore.
    The biggest problems I have with Photobucket is that we can no longer view all photos in an album. I sell on ebay & when I open an album I want to look at all the photos I’ve downloaded, not have to go from page to page to try to find the photos I need to use.
    I hate the editing program that Photobucket uses. Its not user friendly & the final results are horrible. In order to edit my photos I use Fotofexer, then download my photos to Photobucket. Which is one photo at a time. The bulk downloader seldom works & if it does it takes forever to get the photos downloaded.
    What used to take minutes to accomplish with Photobucket now takes hours.
    I hope the new changes make Photobucket more user friendly like it used to be.

    Listen up Photobucket, as a full time eBay seller, I used this feature all the time to locate my photos in my own files. You took it away & I will never understand why! I now feel that my entire Photobucket experience has been compromised & do not feel confident in using Photobucket until that is reinstalled.

    Please allow us to edit the link name of our pictures. The “_z98HU98HJ” behind the picture can be very inconveniencing. I personally use expression pictures for my writing and instead of returning to photobucket to find and copy the image I would love to just change the name of the expression to switch the picture. There is also the situation where if I want to edit an expression picture because I notice a mistake in it. I can safely delete the picture (which breaks all the image links on my writing) fix it and then re-upload it and then just edit the name to the same name it was before which fixes all the links to my broken pictures. This feature was available before and I would really like it returned thank you.

    Your support sucks! There is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to inform anyone of problems!!

    I’ve spent the last hour trying to find a place to report that viewing original size image IN FIREFOX, does NOT work properly!!!!!
    In IE a link to original size image takes you straight to the image, in firefox it takes you to a photobucket page with the image.

    Someone who has never been there before has no idea what to click on to see a full size image.

    The example link on the Linking Original Size Images help page works fine so apparently wrong DIRECT links are are not being provided correctly apparently.

    Websites with no CONTACT US Button tend to be questionable, please fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

        The linking to original size images no longer works properly, be it with IE or Firefox, in my experience. Once in a blue moon, I get the correct display of the full size image, but most often it brings the user back to the album view?? (same link, same location, same image, no longer logged in – there seem to be no ryme or reason why it sometimes works, and most often doesn’t?

        For example, when I paste the link to my original size image in the address bar (i467….~original), most often it will change the URL to “s467… .html” and bring me back to the album). Right now I am logged in and the direct link to the full size image display is working – ten minutes ago, it wasn’t?? Frustrating, especially to the users on my forum, as I can’t explain to them why it is happening.

        And from the album view, it is no longer possible to view the full size image by clicking on the magnifying glass twice, as you sugggested. After clicking it once, there is no more option to click it again?? It used to work that way, but no longer does! I have to use the “download” icon, then the “open” option to view the image in its original size. Most inconvenient! I am paying for this account, but I seem to be losing vital features regularly!!

        Would appreciate if you could advise why is this happening and whether there is a fix in sight, or if there is something I can do to avoid this problem. Txs.

          When a reader clicks on a photo linked to your forum, they will be redirected to a web size version of that photo. When you click the magnifying icon twice, you will be able to see the original. If this function is not working properly, please contact our support team at so that we can troubleshoot the issue.     All of my albums are showing up as slideshow ONLY and there is no other option showing up. I can’t OR don’t know how to change it back to regular album setting. I have never set any of my albums to slideshow setting. It will not let me select a photo and edit. I can’t drag and drop from my computer to the editor or get a photo from an album. Why am I paying for photobucket if none of the features I need are working. How do I take call of my pictures over to flicker?

    Where did my other message go????

    I submitted an issue about turning off the slide show and that the photo editor was not working. You cannot select an individual photo out of a slideshow and edit it. So at this point I cannot do anything that I need to do with my photos because they are all locked into a “slide show” and I need to do some editing. I also tried to send a message

    I also stumbled across a place where I could connect with staff for “help” but when I tried to send a detailed message about the issue I was required to answer two additional questions BUT THERE IS NOT A “REPLY BOX” so all I got was a message saying I had to answer two questions but you gave me no way to answer them so no message for “HELP” was sent. Great way to not solicit feedback and really piss off users.

    I responded to the email you sent 24 hours ago to I have not heard from anyone yet and the problems with photo editor not working continues and all of my photos are still set to slide show. The new feature of the little buttons at the top of selected photos like the wheel button for edit or enhance do not work. I can view an individual photo but can’t do anything with it. If you click the edit button, there is nothing but a blank photo editor page and you cannot select and load a picture. If part of these new features require new processes or instructions for using the photo editor- you need to post them.

    Is anyone else having these issues?

    Day before yesterday editor would do NOTHING. Last 24 hours it “appears” to be loading but after 30 minutes still no picture. Doesn’t matter if I upload from my computer or my bucket. I have tried several times using several pics at different times of the day. So the above mentioned fix…… fixed nothing. The site still has issues. It is not fixed.

    So. . .no stats? That seems like a very obvious feature that just about anybody could want. Is there any specific reason that, after numerous requests, view stats are not available? Who doesn’t want to know which pictures are getting the most views and from where? This is very valuable information to the user.

    Hey, the updates are all cool and great, but I have a question. Why in the world can I not see how many views my individual photos have anymore!? I would like to see the stats of individual photos, NOT overall profile stats. Some photos I post, edit, and share on this website specifically to keep up with the views and such of the single photo. I can’t do that anymore. Why? If that feature no longer exists, it needs to be brought back into existence.

    Hannah, It’s been a week and I still have had no real replies from Photobucket – only replies from a Robot. There is no contact number to call someone, I am losing money daily as I have new products to list and cannot access my library at all. None of my pictures in my ebay listings are showing and I am losing sales and getting complaints. People don’t buy what they can’t see. Please tell me again why I am paying for a fee for a service that is useless or unaccessible? I’ve tried FireFox IE reinstall google chrome, I’ve done all the suggestions the robot said would work, and still it is not working correctly. Please help.

    I am desperately hoping you can help me. I ordered a fleece blanket from the Print Shop and in the order status line it simply says “imageIssue” I sent an Email to the support staff and they responded with simply ” we are experiencing technical difficulties on our end with your image” and not to worry.
    This is a Xmass gift and there is simply not enough time to resolve this before Xmass comes via the glacial pace of support emails. I have sent them my personal info and phone number in hopes that we could resolve this in seconds as opposed to weeks and no answer. I offered to resend the image in a different format if needed ( there are no published image requirements other than the image size limit of 30mg ) but no response. And there is no online provision to re-send the image or suggestions as to the best type of file to submit ( dimensions, bit depth, image size, DPI, ect )
    So many of these questions and problems could easily be avoided with a few simple guidelines about the exact requirements needed of the submitted image file.

    I am considering starting the order process all over again and actually paying for the blanket a SECOND time just to get it by Xmass but dont want to make the same mistake with the image ( whatever that mistake was ). Please do not suggest the automated support page which only provides BOT responses as there is simply not enough time for that now.
    And help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

      We are so sorry to hear there is an issue with your image. I have reached out to our support team to find your ticket and find out what the problem is. The cut off date to get blankets in time for the holidays has already passed, so please do not attempt to order it a second time as there is no guarantee that it will arrive in time for Christmas.     I am getting increasingly frustrated with the ‘new’ website and app. I can not figure out how to delete photos from my tablet, and in order to do it from my phone, I have to go through them individually to delete them. I tried downloading the app for my tablet and just using the plain website to do it from. The app only has icons for liking, commenting, or uploading pictures. Nothing for editing or deleting. On the website, there is no ‘wheel’ or any icon where I can delete my photos, and I have tried to Google troubleshoot, but nothing it tells me to do is available/showing. I have over 2,000 photos I need to go through. I do not have the time to look at one, click, look at one, click. I liked the original website formatting where you could look at a grid of photos and scroll through them and click on the delete or edit buttons etc. in order to manage your photos. Now I can’t do anything with them. Please, please, please can I get some help here?

      Hello Joanne,

      To delete photos from your mobile device, please go to “Your Library”, select the album, click “Edit”, then simply select all the photos you wish to move or delete (you will see those options at the bottom of your screen).

    Still having album of issues.
    i have over 400 images in my library but the app will only show 70 even though it shows the correct number on the folder. Frustrating to say the least……

    There are numerous pleas asking for view counts to be added back. This was a very helpful feature for your customers, myself included. It’s important for us (customers) to know if pictures are viewed or not, so we can make informed decisions to delete pictures that may not interest anyone, or to redistribute links & passwords, etc.

    Can you please explain why the view counts were removed? Is there any plans to add view count back? Thank you!

      Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately there are not any plans to bring back view counts as this (in addition to comments) was a feature used by only a small percentage of Photobucket users. We do have other great features on the way that will improve the overall Photobucket experience for all users!

    I have been having problems, same problems with the other user. My pictures are not showing up on my ebay listings. Even I can not see them on photobucket. I can sometimes see the thumbnails but mostly I see them greyed out and even if I see the thumbnail when I click on the thumbnail, the picture does not load. Only a grey screen.

    Please please please solve this issue.

      Hello Perry,

      To organize your photos, simply hover over each the image and click the check mark. You can select as many photos as you’d like, across multiple pages and albums. You will see a tool bar pop up at the bottom of your album once you’ve selected your photos with actions such as “move, rotate, delete, edit, print, etc.” To re arrange photos in your album, click the “order by” drop down at the top left of your album and choose “Sort Manually”. You can then drag and drop photos in whatever order you’d like. To get more information about organizing, click here:

    Why am I not able to view my albums in the Organize function? To view all photos in a particular album, all I had to do was scroll up and down – – very easy! NOW, none of the pictures are titled and I have to view ONE PAGE AT A TIME – – time consuming and annoying. Is this temporary?

    I’m using Photobucket primarily as an image gallery for a large organization. Is there any way to tag, edit titles, and search photos all within my own gallery? I keep seeing videos of how to do this with the old layout, but not with the new layout and I’m worry that this feature no longer exists. To summarize: how do I add tags and titles in my own gallery?

      The tagging feature no longer exists, but you’ll still be able to add titles to your photos by clicking on the photo and then adding the title. Please see all changes with the recent update here:

    Please bring back the Organize button. It would allow you to see all the titles of your photo library. I hate how Photobucket spreads out the pic, only allowing you to see a portion of it. I have words/phrases saved as my pics and only able to see a few letters at a time. There’s no way I can decipher which pic I’m looking at unless I click every single one. 🙁

    Firefox will not show the thumbnails when I go to my picture pages. It will open the images when I click on the placeholders, but there are only placeholders visible. IE displays them properly.

    What’s going on with FF and photobucket?

    Why did you discontinue the “tagging” option?

    Will you consider bringing it back?

    If this feature has no chance of being re-instituted, I may have to begin using an alternate photo hosting site.

    I have been with Photobucket since the beginning, and have seen the features I need and use disappear with each “re-imagining” and promised “big differences”.

    The end user continues to suffer, I can’t even justify paying for another tier to improve my experience at this point, as the options I desire no longer exist.

    The search function is rough. I try to search by a term and “wordy wordz” and it pops up pics of just wordy or just wordz. Seems like a pretty basic boolean search algorithm could be applied, but i have not had success with any combining functions. Is there a special format that works better that I’m missing or is the search function just not capable of boolean searching?

    I second the poster who wanted to pic the page on a search. I have gon through 50 pages or pictures. Taken a break… Then in order to restart on page 51 I have to click through about 25 pages…

    Hi. Yesterday June 5, 2015 I was making changes in my account (keililla) like moving dozens of photos from a folder to another folder, then I deleted the empty folders. I went to all my web pages to change the links addresses of all the pictures that I changed in Photobucket. And now mostly of the pictures that were moved from a folder to another folder don’t show up in my web pages. Thanks.

    Hello, I love using photobucket and never had issues until today. When I try to EDIT my photo, when I select a function, such as adding text etc, the picture automatically turns upside down, making it hard to work on.

    Can you please tell me how to fix this issue.

    Other than this issue, I love PhotoBucket.
