Quick tip: Create albums and sub-albums with the click of a button to help easily find the photos you’re looking for. Birthdays, vacations, anniversaries… Keep your special events organized in separate albums to make finding, enjoying and sharing those photos a snap.

Step 2: Make sure you’ve got plenty of space.

So many photos, and so many places to share them. It can be hard to keep track of it all. But don’t stress! Photobucket is your home to store your photos safely and securely, all in one place. And the best part… it’s easy!

On mobile… Turn on your Auto Backup to make sure your photos stay safe, even if your phone doesn’t. Your photos will be automatically uploaded to your Photobucket account so you never have worry about backing them up one-by-one.

Not a mobile user? We make it easy to upload from anywhere so that you can store photos from all your favorite social channels, desktop or email in just a few easy steps.

Got a lot to back up? Not a problem! Choose the storage option that’s right for you so that you can be sure you’ve got plenty of space to keep all of your photos, videos and GIFs safe and secure.

Step 3: Enjoy your favorite photos in physical form.

After all that photo organizing, you’ll surely have come across some keepers. Spruce up your space with one-of-a-kind wall art, prints, home decor and more!  The Photobucket Print Shop delivers the highest quality print products right to your doorstep. Plus, for a limited time only, you’ll enjoy 40% off all Home Decor items. Click here to browse the Print Shop!

Step 4: Keep up with the cleaning all year.

We know… nobody likes cleaning. But you can take Photobucket with you wherever you go and let us do all the heavy lifting. Download the Photobucket mobile app for iOS or Android to store, edit, print and share your photos anytime, anywhere. You’ll even get an extra 8GB of free storage when you download the app. Score!

Step 5: Snap away.

You love to take pictures, and we love to see them. Keep up with our monthly photo contests for your chance to win.

Why not start now? This month we’re featuring our “Love Of Spring” Contest. Just step outside and snap a spring-themed photo for a chance to win $500! Click here to learn more.

I do love Photobucket except that every time I need to reset my phone to factory default (which I had to do 3 times in the last year) or get a new phone (which I did a couple of months ago) and I set up PB to backup all pictures automatically, it duplicates, triplicates and quadruplicates everything, thereby wasting valuable space. And going through all that is VERY time consuming. I had the same problem backing up from my laptop, so had to set that to manual backup. I don’t have that problem with ay other cloud service, where I also backup my photos for free, such as Google+, Dropbox, G Cloud. Why can’t Photobucket do the same thing? That is a HUGE problem that needs to be addressed. Hopefully someone will actually read this and respond, I didn’t know where else I could put my concerns to get them resolvedAs it stands, my storage is 76% full and it shouldn’t be that full..Thanks for reading and looking forward to hearing from someone.

      Good morning,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. We really do appreciate the feedback. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you, as we know duplicate uploads can be extremely frustrating. Unfortunately for now, if a user gets a new phone or deletes and re-installs the app, all of their photos will be re-uploaded if auto-backup is enabled. We currently use the app itself to keep track of what has been uploaded. This is a limitation that will require a significant amount of work on our end, but will be addressed with future updates. In the meantime we can give you a couple of tips as to deleting your images more efficiently.

      1) Tap on the Trash button on the bottom, right hand corner when viewing an image in media detail.

      2) You can also delete media in bulk from the album screen.
      a. iPhone: tap the Edit button in the upper right corner and begin selecting images. For more information on how to: http://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us/articles/201991080-Bulk-Move-and-Delete-with-Photobucket-for-iPhone
      b. Android: tap the Menu button in the upper right corner, and select Move/Delete. For more information on how to: http://support.photobucket.com/hc/en-us/articles/201940850-Bulk-Move-and-Delete-with-Photobucket-for-Android \

If you are on to a desktop, you can enable Bulk Actions by turning on “Organize Mode” at the top of your album, then select multiple images to delete at one time.

Again, thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. We hope this response was helpful to you.

Thanks for the response, here’s hoping the next update will be sooner rather than later 🙂
I’ve been doing it from my laptop last night, exactly as you outlined and sorting by filename, this way I can see right away the dupes, and sometimes quadruples!!
        Thanks again
