Well, I don’t know about any of yall but i really loved the books. I thought they were all very interesting and very descriptive. I am only dissapointed in the fact that it’s over and there won’t be anymore books in the twilight series. I liked the movie but i think the special effects could have been cooler. I hope the other movies are good. The first may have been kinda not-so-great because it’s hard to cram so much information into a 2 hour movie. I think that the movie was good, could have been better but with all that said, I still can’t wait for the other movies to come out

it was good as a movie, if you didnt compare it to the book……….but if you did compare it to the book, then it sucked.

    the books were absoluutely amazing!
but the movie ruuuuuined them. they edited it way too much.
they make four hour movies like pirates of the carribean, so why not twilight?
the acting wasn’t great. the actors were beautiiiifuuul tho 🙂
but when there’s books as good as twilight the movie obviously isn’t gonna live up to it.
i love twilight, new moon, eclipse, and breaking dawn movie or no movie. 🙂
+edward is real, end of story so don’t challenge me on thaaattttt.

Okay normally I don’t like vampire type books but I have to admit that the twilight books were probably the best books I’ve read in quite a while. Maybe even the best books I’ve ever read.
The movie was good but no where near as good as the book was.

The movie was alright. People out there who keep judging it just by how bad it was should stop and realize that the movie was never going to be like the book. They did the best they could with what they had to work with. Although, I think they should of added more stuff from the book into the movie because some of it came off as cheesy and completely funny looking.

Alright. I have a different perspective to pretty much everyone here, I guess. It has become obvious that you can only either completely hate or completely love Twilight.
Honestly, I have become ashamed to say that I’m a fan of the books, because really, look at all of the girls on the side of love here, they’re mostly illiterate and come off as stupid, whereas the hate side are (MOSTLY) literate.
I LOVE Anne Rice, all her books are amazing, but really, when Stephenie Meyer wrote Twilight, it was her first book. You can hardly expect her first book to be perfect. Each to his own, but personally, I like her take on vampires. So she wrote them differently than the norm. Big deal. My only beef is who they casted for Bella and Edward. I can’t STAND Kristen Stewart and Rob just creeps me out.

Uggh. If you don`t like the movie you obioiusly have no heart, and if you don`t like it then why watch it in the first place huh. Seriously, the movie is a amazing romance story that is a inspiration to many teenagers.

it’s not out in the UK yet!!!!!
but i adore the books, not usually a fan of first person writing either. I have to wait for breaking dawn to come back into the bookshop though >.<

The book has always been okay for me… the plot is nice, but if it was the best Stephenie Meyer could do, she’s not a great writer at all.
I only watched the movie in order to get closer to a friend, and to look at the make out scene. Other than that, the movie was obviously rushed, it was out of order, and the effects weren’t that great.

Kay the movie in my opinion was HORRRIBLEE,
they so rushed it and forgot some parts and Kristen as Bella…?
Wow that was a big no-no.
Robert Pattinson was okay for Edward but really.
Alice was my favorite character in the movie.
    But whatever.
The books were so much better, I plan on reading The Host.
Don’t know how that book must be…
No need to comment negatively on Stephenie Meyer’s writing though.

The movie was okay. It somewhat quenched my obsession for “more twilight”, but “somewhat” isn’t satisfying enough for me. The actors playing Bella nad Edward were… dead. Just dead. No emotions whatsoever. It was a little pathetic, really. Although, the girl that played Alice was perfect, but thats about it. And I’m sick of all the little fan girls who didn’t even read the book going “I lurve twilight, Edward is soooooooo hot!” Newsflash: Edward isn’t even supposed to look like that actor in the first place. Hello? RED. CURLY. HAIR. Not the messy brown rat’s nest that I saw on the screen. I mean, is hair dye really that hard to use? And what happedned to the “glowing pale skin”? The vampires skin tone looked like everyone else’s! I will see the next movie, but only because I lack better things “Twilight”. Don’t judge the books by the movie, because the books are AMAZING. The movie… not so much.

I personally think that the books are great. I can’t find a thing wrong with it. I can’t comment on the movie, considering I haven’t seen it, but I heard that it was too rushed. I love the plots in the books, and it’s definitely one of the best books I have read, and I’ve read Harry Potter + all of the books ten times each.
I give the books five stars.

You know, the movie wasn’t terrible. I’ve seen worse. I didn’t like how they left out most of the book, even if they tried to fit it into two hours, the could have done a better job.
The sparkling vampire crap is ridiculous I’ll be the first to admit that one. However, Stephanie took a chance stretching out of the norm for vampires. And I think she did an EXCELLENT job of it. ‘Cept for the whole sparkly thing. I thought it was an interesting concept at first, but in the movie, it was totally ruined for me. It look like he rolled in glass and you could hear it falling on the ground.
I’ve read all four books, and I can honestly say the only one I didn’t like was New Moon. But that’s only because Edward was gone the entire time.
I don’t think I’m the only one that fell inlove with Cedric Digory(also Robert Pattinson) in Harry Potter and the Gauntlet of Fire. He’s quite gorgeous.
Bella, coulda been better though I did like her. I really think Alexis Bledel would’ve been a great Bella. I have to say though, at times, I felt like she was overacting. In fact, I feel like the entire movie was overacted.
    Mike, was so ugly.
The Cullen Family was beautiful and they did a fair job of contrasting that with the ordinary people.
All in all, it wasn’t the worst book made movie. Obviously, it smashed all the other movies on ticket sale. But it wasn’t the best.

well, i didn’t think it was completely horrible. i thought it was ok.
there’s only so much times in the world and the movie will never be EXACTLY like the book.

Twilight is just a horrible series. The books were terrible and the movie was even worse! The author basically too the dark and morbid name of vampires, painted it rainbow and covered it with sparkles. It shouldn’t be done! Almost the whole population of my school is head over heels for it. THey think its a great series because of the romance and all the lovey-dovey crap, but they can’t see that its commercializining the vampires in to being family friendly. Again, it shouldn’t be done and that moron of an author did.
